WWE superstar Bayley has hilariously called on fans to “help her” following the reveal of her new character design for 2K24.
Over the years, theWWE 2Kvideo game series has found itself at the center of major controversy and, at times, memes for various reasons. While the recent games have mostly been a return to form for the franchise, 2K20 was a low point, with bugs and performance issues riddled throughout the title.
Now, 2K has once again found itself getting negative attention online following the design reveal of one of the biggest female wrestlers going around, Bayley.
Bayley was a fan-favorite to win the recent women’s Royal Rumble match and after outlasting 29 other women, she was crowned the winner and guaranteed herself a title match at Wrestlemania. To celebrate, the officialWWEGames Twitteraccount thought it was the perfect time to drop the new design for the wrestler.
HELP ME
Many wrestling fans online have already begun slamming the design, with Bayley herself even tweeting out “help me” in regards to her new video game look.
This led to the post being taken down and deleted, however many were still able to grab a screenshot of the image before it was removed.
One Twitter userwrote, “Omg we have to start the sonic level campaign to get this fixed!”
Others added that they are “crying” over the design and that “Bayley’s hairline is back further than GTA 6’s release date. That’s not cool at all.”
Time will tell if the devs do decide to alter Bayley’s hair before the final product is released given the major backlash it has already sparked online.
