In our review, we described the game as araucous ridethat is worth playing, including recognizable elements from iconic WWE games like Here Comes The Pain! and Smackdown vs. Raw. However, WWE 2K24 includes MyRise and MyGM features that are worth checking out, since they truly immerse you in the WWE experience.
The bouts are more fluid, provide more diversity in fighting, and improve the visuals. However, one featurein the gamehas already irritated players which is regarding NPC Managers cheating during matches.
WWE 2K24 players fed up with managers having “personal beef” with turnbuckle pads
A Reddit usershared an imageof WWE Hall of Famer Paul Heyman and said, “This m* took 27 turnbuckles every time he was in a showcase match”, followed by crying emojis. They described how Paul Heyman, when played as a manager takes off turnbuckle pads in favor of their wrestler to make the player hurt more during a match.
Others who felt that Managers are way too overpowered in the latest game shared similar thoughts. One such player said, “Managers really have personal beef with turnbuckle pads.” Another chimed in, “The Roman vs Cody match was just Paul Heyman and the ref taking turns removing and replacing each turnbuckle pad, it was like a Looney Tunes cartoon.”
Some players think “Manager Commands should be at the of the list for 2K25.” “It’s nice that the manager is involved now, but they can be annoying at times. They will patch this problem soon but a major overhaul won’t come until next year which is unfortunate,” they said.
A fourth one replied, “MAN! Like bro chill out. Managers are so annoying this year.” A fifth user said, “Grab a Weapon from under the ring. take off the turnbuckle. Every time he is at the ring.”
