A woman has taken to TikTok to slam McDonald’s for taking the McGriddle off its all-day menu, saying that doing so is when the world “went downhill.”
McDonald’sdecided to remove their all-day breakfast menu just a few years ago, and it enraged many fans of the popular fast-food restaurant.
On that breakfast menu was the McGriddle, a breakfast sandwich that uses syrup-filled pancakes as the buns instead of an english muffin, bagel, or bread.

“I genuinely think the world went down hill when McDonald’s took away the $2 Sausage McGriddle off the all day [breakfast] menu,” shesaid in the clip.
“Genuinely, people used to be happier. You used to be able to go to McDonald’s at 5:47pm and get a Sausage McGriddle…this is why people are depressed. This is why people are anxious.”
Yellz also mentions in the clip that the sandwich is now double the price. According tothe mc-menu website that compares prices,the cost of a Sausage McGriddle in California is $4.69 while the average cost is just $2.71.
Users took to the comments to share their thoughts as well, with many agreeing with the TikToker.
“i didnt really like mcdonalds breakfast until i got the mcgriddle tho, so you speaking facts,” one user replied.
Another said: “I 100% agree with you and they took all that happiness away from us.”
“I remember when the regular sausage biscuit was a dollar and a hash brown was a dollar,” a third user commented.
