Here’s everything you need to know about whether or not Granblue Fantasy: Relink will feature an open world to explore.

Will Granblue Fantasy: Relink be open world?

Will Granblue Fantasy: Relink be open world?

No, the game will not be open worldbut it will feature open zones for players to explore during both the game’s story and quest modes, in a similar vein to theMonster Hunterfranchise.

Granblue Fantasy: Relink’s story will take players to different environments that are mostly linear with explorable paths where you can find chests and items. These environments will be separated by loading screens rather than be part of a seamless open world.

Outside of the main campaign, you’ll be able to accept quests from the game’s main hub town which will transport you to the specific area where you’ll have to complete a required objective. While the story mode is purely single-player, you’ll be able to do quests in co-op with up to 4 players online.
