Executive producer Steve Holland confirms Young Sheldon Season 7 will be the last installment as it makes sense for the overall storyline.

According toScreenRant, Holland spoke at The TCAs about the decision not to continue the series beyond the seventh season.

“It felt like this was the right time for that story to come to an end… to end it strong while it was still on top,” he explained.
