Star Wars has returned to Fortnitewith a bevy of new cosmetics, weapons, and more across all Fortnite’s modes.
One new development is the arrival of Chewbacca, the iconic Wookie co-pilot of the Millennium Falcon. His arrival hasn’t gone as planned, and he’s been captured by Imperial forces. It’s up to players to rescue him.

Where to find Chewbacca in Fortnite
As mentioned, Chewbacca has been captured by Imperial Stormtroopers. To free him,players must head to one of five Imperial Roadblocks. The locations are marked below on the map to give you an idea of where to look.
There is a catch, however, as the location where Chewbacca is held changes each match. The easy way to discover which one he’s at is to look for theblue smoke distress signalbefore jumping off the Battle Bus.
Once at the Imperial Roadblock, players will have to defeat the Stormtroopers engaged in battle with Chewbacca. Defeat the enemies, and Chewie will drop aWookie Bowcaster for a reward. He will also join your party if you want him to as a free NPC.
