If there is one sitcom that the people just can’t get enough of, it’s CBS’Young Sheldon. The CBS comedy andThe Big Bang Theoryprequel series watched its titular character grow up in a colorful family.
Unfortunately, Season 7 also marks the end of the series, though it’s not all bad news – aspinoffof the spinoff (yes, you read that correctly) has officially been confirmed.
So what is the release schedule for Young Sheldon Season 7? Read on, and we’ll explain.
Young Sheldon Season 7 release date
This final season has fewer episodes than usual due to the recentWGAandSAG-AFTRAstrikes, meaning 14 episodes instead of the regular 22. This closing stint is now over halfway through filming.

As for the bigger picture, it’s still somewhat unclear what’s to come. Speaking toTV Line, executive producer Steve Holland said “I don’t want to say what you will or won’t see, but things will get addressed. We are not beholden to every joke that was ever made on The Big Bang Theory, but we do feel beholden to the larger canon and the larger events that shape Sheldon’s life. We want to honor those.”
