Warzone players have been left a little bit concerned about the changes to Fortune’s Keep after the updated map was revealed for Season 2.

Although Warzone has had four new maps over the last few years – Al-Mazrah, Vondel, Ashika Island, and Urkizstand – players have been pining for what came beforehand.

That initial news, naturally, excited many players who wanted to get back to the action-packed Resurgence map. However, it will be coming back with a fair few changes that are designed to keep things fresh, but they haven’t gone down all that well with fans.

That’s right, Fortune’s Keep will be returning in Season 2, but not exactly as fans remembered it. Some areas have been destroyed and there is a dynamic flooding element to the underground portion which has fans worried.

“Ability to flood the underground portion? Kinda cool, but not looking forward to the water rat plays,”saidone fan, with others urging the devs to reconsider the new flooding mechanic.

“That whole middle section looks like a total clusterf*** of terrain with all the destruction. Not sure I love it, but we’ll see how it plays. Also odd that they seem to have removed all areas that previously had tents and replaced them with buildings,” anotheradded. “Oooof. Im going to try and stay optimistic here, but that huge crater in the middle of the map and the typical new WZ 2 dull color pallette/lighting does make me worry,” commented another.

Other players called the new lighting a “massive L” and urged the devs to stop adding “stupid glare” to different Warzone maps.

It’s unlikely that there will be any changes made to Fortune’s Keep before it launches, but if the new changes become problematic afterwards, well, they may have to step in then.
