A Warzone player may have just outed themselves after posting an image of Reddit advertising a COD cheat to them.
Warzone has hada big issue with cheatersin the game, from aimbots to hacks that allow absurd shots.
The community has long spoken out against the prevalence of these cheats, often taking to social media to discuss it.
Now, a Warzone fan did just this but may have actually revealed themselvesas a cheaterin the process.
Warzone player outs themselves as cheater
The person in question posted on theWarzone subredditabout how the site was advertising a COD cheat, and asking why Reddit is showing this to them.
While the poster surely expected the community to respondwith equal outrage, it was quickly pointed out that the whole thing is more telling than originally expected:
“I’ve never seen one of these ads. Aren’t they targeted given your browsing history?”
Other Warzone users are quick to confirm this, saying that Reddit’s ads are geared towards what people have been searching for, meaning this player has beenlooking for cheats.
‘Well, where have you been recently that google picked it up to suggest you that?” is a common question being asked.
While some fans have been a little lighthearted about the accidental confession, others are a bit harsher with their criticisms:
“OP is either advertising here or he’s dumb enough to not realize it’s his search history.”
Of course, it could be a completely different case, which the original poster claims is the case, but the community isn’t buying it.
