Vanderpump Rules alum Stassi Schroeder explained why she decided not to join the spinoff The Valley.
Stassi Schroeder was an iconic Vanderpump Rules cast member and was known for being a villain on the show.
After Vanderpump Rules Season 8, Stassi was fired along with herco-star Kristen Doutefor racist accusations made against another SUR employee, Faith Stowers.
Since Stassi left the show, she married her husband Beau Clark and gave birth to two children, a daughter Hartford and a son Messer.
The former Vanderpump Rules star hasn’t returned to reality TV, and is focusing on being a mother and hosting her podcast, Straight Up With Stassi.
Stassi was initially asked to be on The Valley spinoff
TheVanderpump Rules spinoffcalled The Valley is coming this spring, and fans are wondering why Stassi and Beau aren’t on the show with alums Kristen, Jax Taylor, and Brittany Cartwright.
In an interview withJeff Lewis Live, Stassi cleared up the confusion about being asked to appear onThe Valley. “I was asked to film the sizzle reel to like show what this show would be,” she explained.
“So once this idea was brought up and they were like, ‘Okay, we’re going to film a Sizzle with all of the people that would be on it, will you be on it and film the sizzle?’ and every fiber of my being voted no.”
Stassi also mentioned that she didn’t go on the show because it wouldn’t be an accurate representation of her real life.
“It wouldn’t be a reflection of what my reality is because… it’s not my group of friends. I’m friendly with some of them, I’m acquaintances with some of them, and some of the new ones too, like, I think are lovely. But it’s not my crew,” she added.
She still keeps in touch with Kate Maloney, Lala Kent, Tom Schwartz, and Scheana Shay from Vanderpump Rules, but they’re not in the The Valley cast.
Even though Stassi is a good fit for the Valley because she lives in that area and started a family, she ultimately felt that it wasn’t the right decision.
