Next, Ubisoft revealed the next faction coming to the recently released FPS XDefiant: GSK from Rainbow Six. It also announced a new Capture the Flag mode and additional weapons, skins, and more coming to the game. All this will be added in Season 1, which starts on July 2.

Ubisoft also highlighted Skull and Bones’ new season, plus new content coming to the game. This includes festival events that allow players to compete for prizes. The game will also receive community requests features. Finally, the devs announced Season Three, Into the Dragon’s Wake, which features a flying dragon and 5v5 mode.

Ubisoft also announced the first free update for The Rogue Prince of Persia, The Temple of Fire, which adds new mobs and weapons.

Ubisoft briefly discussed its guitar learning software Rocksmith+.

Following another performance, Ubisoft shifted focus to the next Assassin’s Creed game,Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Game director Charles Benoit came onstage to discuss the title, which follows a samurai and shinobi, providing different perspectives on this era of Japanese history.

Benoit discussed the seasons mechanic, which will impact gameplay depending on the weather and in-game time of year.

We also got to see several minutes of gameplay. This includes Yasuke completing a quest by speaking to townsfolk to learn more about his target. Once he finds the person in question, he fights him, showing off Shadows’ brutal combat.

The extended gameplay walkthrough also includes a cutscene between Yasuke and Naoe, followed by a Naoe gameplay sequence. As expected, the shinobi focuses on stealth, sneaking around a castle and striking foes with quick assassinations. She can also non-lethally take out targets by dragging them out of sight and knocking them out.
