As he takes on some of the world’s tastiest treats like pizza, sushi, and jumbo hot pretzels, he exaggerates his reactions, making viewers rather squirmish.
Some viewers have even deemed the foodie “cringy” and “embarrassing.”

Though Smith has a large following on TikTok, not everyone has been supportive of his food content,saying that he needs“mental help.”
One viewer of his viral“McChicken McFlickin’” video went as far as saying that maybe if they reported the video, he’d finally stop.
Another even compared his food reactions to a woman having an exaggerated menstrual cycle, while many said that no “grown man” should be acting the way he does.
Viewer reactions aren’t far-fetched, though, asSmith incorporates wild and loud soundsduring his muck-bangs. He also licks his fingers, excessively smacks his mouth, and rarely wipes his face with a napkin.
The negative comments may have been triggered by those withmisophonia, the fear of eating noises, as 1 in 5 adults (18% of the population) have been diagnosed with the phobia.
Though Smith has been on the receiving end of cynical responses, he continues to post as frequently as possible, seemingly unamused by the mass criticism.
