On February 23, Tesfaye popped online briefly to make threenow-deleted cryptic posts. “Time ticks loud in here,” hewrotein one. The other two read “i would do absolutely” and “just to be clear.” Then, poof, Tesfaye disappeared, leaving fans in an absolute frenzy.

Diehard Weeknd fans were shook after Tesfaye took to Twitter/X to write three cryptic posts before deleting them.
“Abel deleted the tweets the album is coming!”declaredone fan, who then wrote a follow-up post.
“Hold on Abel tweeted album hints then they ‘faded,'” theycontinued. “Did The Weeknd just confirm his next album is going to be called ‘Everything fades’???”
“What if Abel goes live later and teases a bit of everything fades,” another fanspeculated.

Many others simply expressed their confusion.
