The beloved epic fantasy manhwa The Beginning After The End is going on a three-month hiatus, leaving fans upset over the wait.
Tapas Entertainment, the host of the English version of TBATE, recently released a statement announcing the hiatus and the reason behind it. The company revealed the manhwa needs a new art studio, and thus, will use the time to shift to a new location.
Prior to this, Rise Entertainment was the studio behind the manhwa. However, Tapas revealed their differences in the creative process were too much to overcome, leading to TBATE leaving the studio for now.

“While Rise Entertainment has done incredible work, differences in the comic creation ecosystems have affected our ability to stay in sync with our internal schedule,” Tapas clarified.
The company also apologized for the delay but assured it’s needed for the long-term improvement of the manhwa: “Please note that this decision was not made lightly, but for the long-term sustainability of TBATE. this change is essential to align production schedules and ensure consistent, high-quality releases.”
Tapas also assured fans that there will be plenty of sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes content for fans to enjoy during these three months.
However, avid readers of the fantasy series are still pretty sad about not being able to read The Beginning After The End for such a long time. As onewrote on X, “So sad, which story should I read in these 3 months?”
“Yeah this is happening right when it gets to the good part man…” added another.
