Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has raised eyebrows across the internet, adding the divisive Denuvo DRM system just days before the game’s full launch.
With that being said the lead-up to the game has not been without its controversies. Much of the game came with criticism from players who complained about theDestiny 2-like UI, thelack of improvement after feedback, and theinability to play offline even solo.
Despite all this, the game has still been chugging along to the final release date, though it seems the title has one more surprise up its sleeve. It appears that Denuvo DRM has been added to Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League’sSteam page, only just a few days before the game was supposed to be put online.

For those unaware, Denuvo DRM is an anti-tamper tool that’s supposed to protect a video game from piracy. This often raises eyebrows and questions from players, who have previously claimed DRM tools like Denuvo can cause performance issues for the title it’s on.
In fact, the TEKKEN 7 director actively blamed Denuvo’s DRM for issues with the PC version of the game.
What this may mean for the new Suicide Squad title is up in the air, but with only days before the title is launched onto Steam, an addition like this may be a bad omen of things to come for the superhero title.
