Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 devs have scolded the community for sending “violent threats” to Insomniac staff as the wait for new updates continues.
Notably, theface model for Mary Jane, Stephanie Tyler Jones, called out a segment of the fanbase for calling her place of employment late last year. She said the messages that were left made her feel uncomfortable.
Unfortunately, it does not appear as though the harassment stopped there. Insomniac’s community developers were forced to address threats the team has received because of the ongoing silence regarding game updates.

The Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 community is still awaiting news updates concerning the sequel’s much-coveted New Game Plus mode and potential DLC.
The hack culminated in a leak outlining Insomniac’s plans for the next decade and change. It makes sense, then, that the outfit would need time to regroup before engaging with the community again and rolling out new content.
