How to get the Modern Axe in Sons of the Forest
The Modern Axe can be found inside a tent around the island’s northwest part. Specifically, this particular tent can be found in an abandoned camp just by a road.
To help you out, check out the image above that’s been marked. In that location, you’ll find three black tents nearby.
Head over to the tent in the middle, as that is where you’ll find the Modern Axe. There’ll be a slumped person inside the tent, and you can loot the Modern Axe from him by pressing “E” on your keyboard.
And that’s it. Now, the Modern Axe is all yours. It deals quite a decent amount of damage within medium range with low-medium attack speed, which should be enough to help you survive early on.
