A YouTube streamer’s broadcast ended in disaster while playing a PSVR2 game with his friends after he punched his TV, smashing it in the process.

Consumer VR headsets have been in the spotlight for years, withMeta,Sony,Valve, and nowAppleleading the pack with the most popular headsets.

Being that the device basically acts as a blindfold around your eyes, your spatial awareness quickly goes away, which can cause quite a few accidents when playing your favorite games.

YouTube streamer Petrifying Pumpkins learned this the hard way after a recent PSVR2 stream ended in disaster.

While standing alongside his friends in-game, the YouTuber went to throw a punch at enemies and unfortunately landed it right on his TV. This caused it to fall forward, shattering the screen in the process.

“There goes the tv, there goes the tv,” he said. “Worst mistake I could ever imagine.”

The clip was shared onthe r/virtualreality subredditjust hours later and garnered quite a few reactions.

“His play space is absolutely too small. Honestly hes lucky his controllers arent broken and his knuckles bloodied with that desk nearly touching him and his tv 2 ft away,” one user replied.

Another commented: “As someone with a small play space (not quite this small, 5’x7′), I feel for this guy.”

“There’s still a black stain on my wall where I punched it while playing Gorn. Controller was fine but it hurt like hell. That’s when I pretty much completely stopped moving in my playspace,” a third user commented.
