The new card is called Pikachu in Batik Shirt, and it (unsurprisingly) features a very happy Pikachu wearing a colorful batik shirt against a geometric background.
This card is being given out as part of the Indonesia’s Journey campaign in Indonesia and won’t be available to pick up from Pokemon Centers or stores in any other locations. In Indonesia, it will be available at participating retailers and stores.
The Indonesia’s Journey campaign is taking place alongside the Pikachu Jet GA, which is a Pikachu-themed airplane. It looks like a great campaign so far, with plenty ofexciting eventsfor fans to get involved with like themed runs and musical shows.
There’s even a specialPokemon Goevent lined up which’ll be taking place in Bali from the 2nd of March this year. In this event, fans will be able to catch a Pikachu wearing the same batik shirt featured in the promotional card.
If you’re based in a different location and you’re keen on getting a Pikachu in Batik Shirt card, you’ll need to keep an eye on your favorite card stores and resellers to see if they can import it for you.
It’s hard to say with certainty, but this card will likely sell for a high price at first then slowly taper off after a few months, so look out for fair deals and watch how the prices change before buying.
