Players of Pokemon Go couldn’t believe it when a trainer revealed their Lucky Charmander was caught on the first day the game launched in their country.
Pokemon Goplayers are often keen to show off their rare catches of pocket monsters they have obtained over the years.
Whether it be a dad being remarkably lucky withtheir “insane catch”or another trainer beating the odds tohatch a rare Hundo, seeing trainers “catch em’ all” has always proved popular across social media.
Now, one player has left others shocked after they revealed their Lucky Charmander was caught in Pokemon Go over seven years ago when Niantic first released the game.
Pokemon Go player shows off day one Lucky Charmander
Pokemon Go player NorthernCaptainrevealedtheir ultra-rare Lucky Charmander to Reddit and asked: “Could this be the only one in the world?”
Various trainers flooded in to praise the day one Charmander that hasn’t been evolved in over seven years. “You’re real lucky OP. The best starter Pokémon on top of it,” one commented, to which Northern Captain replied:” I couldn’t agree more… loved the Charmander line since playing Pokemon Red back in 1999!”
Some other trainers shared their day one Pokemon, while another revealed they too had caught a Lucky Charmander on the release day: “I have one, from the first day we could play in Canada. Lucky Charmander 100% IV, who is now my best buddy Charizard.” The OP responded: “That’s awesome! I’m in the process of best buddying him up now so will try and join the club.”
Even though it isn’t the only one in the world, for a trainer to still have a classic day one Lucky Pokemon is still certainly incredibly rare within Pokemon Go. This player isn’t the only one that has impressed the community, and undoubtedly, many more impressive stories will continue to surface as time goes on.
