Pokemon Go developer Niantic has introduced a massive quality-of-life update to the game’s Research Task interface which has gone down extremely well with players.
From the introduction andreworking of Routesto exciting events likeRoad to Sinnoh, Niantic is constantly introducing new content to keep things fresh.
However, it’s often thesmall changes that fans appreciate the most, and this latest update to a key feature has proven just that.
Pokemon Go fans praise collapsable Timed Research update
This quality of life update allows trainers to navigate and organize which tasks they are working on more easily while also making better use of screen space.
Impressed by the update one fan commented, “Very useful addition, now I don’t have to scroll through the GBL timed research (and accidentally claim one of them) while looking at collection challenges.”
Two other trainers were excited at the obvious benefits of this update responding, “Oh yay, finally, it’ll be so much easier to scroll through and I can ignore the research I don’t want to do,” and “BEST QOL CHANGE THIS YEAR… OR ANY YEAR.”
A different reply applauded the change as a “quality of life feature we needed,” but admitted, “Although if it doesn’t stay collapsed then is effectively useless.”
This latter concern was also raised by someone else who expressed, “I wish it stayed collapsed after you restart the app though,” believing there is still room for improvement.
Regardless of some players wanting further improvements, the consensus from the Pokemon Go community was that this change is positive and that they hope Niantic continues to deliver more quality-of-life updates.
