One Pokemon Go player has discovered the fastest way to get hold of the Platinum Ace Trainer medal, and it could change the game for many medal collectors.
Medals are almost like achievements inPokemon Go. They allow you to show off how far you’ve come in the game, and give you something extra to work towards, aside from catching ’em all, or building the most powerful team to battle with.
However, those medalsaren’t always a walk in the park to get hold of, and certain ones can post quite the challenge. One such medal is the Platinum Ace Trainer, which requires players to train in 2000 Trainer Battles. Such a task can take ages to complete and often feels like a grind.
Now, one player has discovered the fastest way to unlock the Platinum Ace Trainer medal, and it could change how hundreds go about achieving the award.
Pokemon Go player shows off how to unlock Platinum “Ace Trainer” medal fast
Sharing their discovery on Reddit, user Puzzleheaded_Ad_3246 shared how they managed to obtain one of the most “boring” medals in the game.
The steps they highlighted were as follows:
Along with the list, they highlighted that following those steps meant it “took me27 secondsto finish the battle.”
Of course, you’ll have to do this 2000 times, but that’s still a world quicker than many of the other battles players have tried.
Sure, it’s not an instant way to get hold of the medal, but it’ll certainly help players looking to complete the “tedious” achievement, and is a perfect way to let off a little battling steam once in a while, without it feeling like a grind.
