The latest Pokemon Go event – Go Big – is now live, introducing some massive changes to the game in the form of the exciting newMax Battlesand giganticDynamax Pokemon.
Dynamax was the main gimmick ofSword and Shield, allowing Pokemon to grow to massive sizes and even letting them use these forms to unlock more powerful moves. Well luckily for excited fans, Dynamax is now ready to join the mobile game, with the newMax Out seasonfocusing on this Galar mechanic.
To introduce this to the game, Pokemon Go has shared the appropriately named Go Big, which adds the first Dynamax Pokemon and Max Battles — so here’s everything to know about the game’s latest event.

Go Big adds the first set ofDynamax Pokemonfor trainers to catch, all of which are available through one-star Max Battles and have Shiny variants:
The event also introduces a new Special Research called To The Max! This involves players participating in Max Battles to earn Max Particles, findingPower Spots, a new avatar item (which appears to be a Dynamax Band), and more.

Additionally, themed Field Research tasks will also be available during the event’s runtime, and completing these gives you the chance to encounter the following Pokemon:
