A Pokemon Go overworld glitch caused a Throh and some Machop to spawn a bit too close together, accidentally creating a wholesome scene.
It’s no secret thatPokemon Gohas some glitches.
Whilecertain glitchescan be frustrating or present major issues for players, most are justsimple visual quirksthat, while odd, don’t actually impact gameplay. On occasion, they can even be pretty cute.
During the still ongoingRaging Battlesevent, which makes various Fighting-type Pokemon more common, one player spotted a surprisingly sweet glitch that turned an unsuspecting Throh into a father of two.
Pokemon Go player finds “single dad” Throh and his Machop “kids”
The adorable screenshot was shared byReddit user Bugsitter, who remarked that it looked like “a single dad with two kids.”
The Throh’s stance also had the player noting “he kinda looks like hes about to tell them to jump me” – hopefully just in a playful way.
While not intentional, the idea of a Throh taking two Machop under his wing and raising them as sons is pretty adorable. Both species are mono Fighting-type, so Throh certainly has knowledge to impart to his children.
Of course, these types of visual glitches are nothing new in Pokemon Go, though they usually aren’t this wholesome. Most involve Pokemon merging into hilarious or ungodly abominations, such as a bizarreObstagoon/Lechonk fusionand aWooper that somehow grew arms.
Others have put Pokemon inrather unfortunate positionsthat, if intentional, would certainly raise the age rating for Pokemon Go.
Those hoping to find a Throh or Machop of their own will want to play during Raging Battles, which runs until January 24. During this time, players will be able to catch both Throh and its counterpartSawk– which are usuallyregional exclusives– no matter where they live.
