Pokemon Go fans are freaking out after a player posted a photo of an in-game glitch in which they were transformed into an actual raid.

Despite being almost a decade old,Pokemon Gois still a popular game, one that maintains an impressive player base and continues to add new content each and every month.

The most recent bug to infiltrate Pokemon Go is one of the latter, with fans taking to social media to share their reactions to this new in-game bug.

The bug in question is in relation to one of Pokemon Go’s most popular features, the raid game mode. On Reddit, one player revealed that the game had turned them into a raid, a feature that players can engage with but should not be able to become themselves.

As well as this, theReddit posterconfirmed that once they were turned into a raid, they were stuck in the mode for quite some time before they were freed. The initial poster captioned the Redditor thread, “Guess I’m a raid.”

Fellow Pokemon Go fans then chimed in the comments section of the Reddit post, many of which found the situation humorous.

One Pokemon Go fan commented, “that’s hilarious, did you have an egg too?” Another added, “Guys. We only have 10 minutes!!! Someone catch him or he’s gone forever!!!!”

At the time of writing, there has been no acknowledgement of the glitch from developer Niantic and it is unclear if and when they will clear it up.
