There are two other names the character has had, however. In the official manga adaption of the game, he’s calledMinato Arisato, and he’s also known asSakuya Shiomiin the stage musical The Weird Masquerade.
Ultimately, theprotagonist’s name doesn’t impact the story at all in Persona 3 Reload, so you can call him whatever you want! If you’d prefer to stick to the canon go withMakoto Yuki but if you’d like to feel a bit more personally connected to the game’s world you could use your own name.
