A woman who works at Hooters took a birthday sash to wear on top of her regular uniform, and TikTok was shocked by what happened.
In a video that’s accumulated over four million viewson the platform,a worker calledSavannahrevealed how much money she made on a recent shift.
“Let’s see how much I make working at Hooters on my birthday. I don’t actually work on my birthday, but I work today, which is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and I also work the 26th, which is Friday,” she explains. “But I’ll wear my birthday sash all of those days. And we’re gonna see how much I make.”
On the first day, she made $272, on the second day, $121, and finally on the third day, she made $178, despite finishing early.
TikTok weigh in on Hooters tipping situation
After the video went live, it quickly gained a bunch of comments, with many people questioning their life choices: “I swear I work at the wrong place.”
“Lord, is this my sign?” another quipped.
“Suddenly I’m working at hooters and its my birthday everyday,” a further commenter joked.
Savannah did explain however, that she was clear and honest with all of her customers, writing:
“To clarify I was very vocal each day about it not being my exact birthday and that my birthday was on Wednesday… no one cared. everyone told me to wear the sash as long as I could… so I did. All love.”
Some people claimed that women had it easy, writing: “Being a girl is life on easy mode.”
“Don’t Americans complain about tips then I see videos like this,” another complained sarcastically.
