One Reddit chose to take the monotonous way of turning on their PC a step further. Reddit user Shellybee23 has modified their PC case, letting them kick-start their PC by turning a key, instead of pressing a power button.

Posting to ther/PCMasterRace, Reddit user Shellybee23 shared an image of their ingenious modification. The image, reveals a lock and key, yet instead of being found on a locker or inside of a car, it’s the new PC power switch to their gaming PC.

Shellybee23 thought of everything when it came to this unique PC modification. When prompted by subreddit user CrahmDem, who stated:

“It’s all over if you lose that key”.

Shelly responded with an image of a spare that’s kept on the back for emergencies.

Many fellow r/PCMasterRace Reddit users were quick to comment on the inventive power switch. Reddit user Mr_Siphon responded by sharing:

“Actually pretty genius if you need that little bit of extra security, or if you have kids haha.”

Many users who have cats, instead of children, felt inspired by the mod. Reddit user brenfukungfu stated:
