A Papa Johns customer was appalled after the restaurant “gaslit” her during a conversation about receiving a low-quality order.

TikTokerLeanne, who also goes by the handle WowThatsRandom, recently posted a video detailing the order she received fromPapa Johns.

Though she ordered saucy boneless wings, which were supposed to be fully coated, Leanne was given something rather different.

She then directly messaged Papa Johns about her order and was given a response full of what she referred to as ‘gaslighting.’

ThoughLeanne ordered sauced-up boneless wingswith ranch from Papa Johns, she received wings with sauce drizzled on top of them.

Looking at the picture of the wings she ordered on the Papa Johns website, Leanne felt deceived. She then messaged the restaurant, “These are the bbq wings on your page I ordered. The one on the right is what I received.”

Leanne also included a side-by-side photo comparison of what she received versus what she ordered.

Papa Johns then responded, “Good morning, Leanne. Both pictures are the same. Can you resend the picture of the boneless wings you received? Thanks!”

Knowing she was in the right, as what she got was far different than what she ordered, Leanne said she felt “gaslit by Papa Johns.”

Viewers of Leanne’s viral TikTok have since reacted, saying they would have driven their car through the Papa Johns building if they were given that order.

While another commented, “How do you even send those out as an employee? Like what?”

Papa Johns also commented on Leanne’s TikTok, “Oh no! We apologize for the mixup. We will make sure you get some new wings!”

Leanne then asked Papa Johns what wings she’d be getting to make up for the mistake. However, they sent her a $50 gift cardinstead and an apology for making “things difficult.”
