Veteran Palworld players urged newbies not to make one simple mistake when choosing where to place their first base.
Palworldhas attracted fans from multiple franchises, likePokemon, Ark, and other games, as they start their new adventure into the new monster-catching survival world.
But what is the same mistake that all these players find themselves making?
A huge part of survival games is setting up asturdy and stylish baseto start and finish your day in, andPalworldis no different.
However, nearly all players new to the game found themselves making the same mistake of putting their base too near to the spawning point. Then they spent the rest of their playthrough trekking daily because they felt it was too much effort to move to a new location.
The Palworld do’s and don’ts of setting up your base
One playerwarned othersabout making the mistake of choosing where to put you’re first base and the stress it will cause you later in the game.
“I’m in too deep to change.”
The original poster also shared a video that meme’d an iconic scene from the film Interstellar, with the caption:
“Me watching myself set up my first Palworld base in the worst spot possible”.
Palworld veteran recommended that new playersdon’tmake the same mistake of placing their base close to spawn with no resources.
“finds uneven land with janky cliff faces, no resources, and at the ass-end of any point of interest. The sunset is cool here, this is the spot.” one player shared their mistake.
Theydidrecommend either starting off by building you’re base next to resources and good Pal spawns. Or, if it’s already too late, then build a second base and transfer all your stuff there.
“Pretty much as soon as I got the 2nd base I started teleporting everything to the new base and destroyed the old one. I was a fool to build in those ruins around the spawn. I should have run further afield,” one player said.
But, if you already started your playthrough strongly and have your ideal base location, consider checking out some of the guides on our website, likehow to find and catch the turtle-like Pal Digtiose.
