New notifications were added to Palworld in the recent update, and the player base was not ready for how terrifying they sound.
Palworld is continuing its growth as the devs update the game tobring new featuresand quality-of-life changes.
These changes can be as small as new text for different situations, or as big as buffing a Pal’s attacks, and they can allhave a surprising effecton the game as a whole.
A small change, however, istaking the fans by surprise, as a new notification has begun to appear that sounds far more sinister than it really is.
Palworld fans fear new notifications after update
The news of the notifications isspreading on the Palworld subreddit, where a player is sharing a screenshot of a notification they received in-game. The notification is simple: “The visitor has left the base.”
Their feelings about this are pretty apparent in their post title: “I’m sorry? THE WHAT???”
It seems that this new notification istaking many other members of the community by surprise, as more stories are being told in the comments.
“Happened to me as soon as I put the first pal box down on a new save. It was a lvl 1 wandering merchant. Never saw this pop up, but then again I used a sphere to capture him. So he hasn’t left.”
Many Palworld fans are not aware that Wandering Merchants can visit their camp, and the game simply referring to them as a “visitor” is certainly rather foreboding.
Combine those two things, and you have a recipe for a freaked-out player base.
While many users are simply waving it off as a visit from a friendly merchant, one user warns that these characters are not always so kind:
“My visitor was chased onto my base by the syndicate and started attacking my pals when we rescued him I think I’ll keep my gates closed from here on.”
It seemsnowhere is truly safein Palworld, not even your own base.
