Overwatch 2 players are not happy with some new skins coming to the game, feeling like the same heroes consistently get all the love when it comes to cosmetics.

Season 11 is just around the corner, and Blizzard has released a short trailer to show off some ofthe skinscoming to this new chapter, calledSuper Mega Ultrawatch. So far, the tokusatsu-inspired skins are going to be available for Ana, Reaper, and Genji.

These three characters getting more skins has theOverwatch 2community irritated as they feel like these Heroes are part of a small handful that are always getting cosmetics when others are left in the dust.

Once the trailer was released on X, a fan wasquick to comment, saying: “The same Heroes getting skins again. Thanks, Overwatch. Very cool.”

Another user remarked by expressing their frustration with Ana getting a skin for “every season.”

The response was equally exasperated onthe Overwatch 2 subreddit, where one fan sarcastically expressed their distaste, saying: “WHOOOOOO! A NEW GENJI RECOLOR! THAT’S 3 SEASONS IN A ROW, BABY!”

Now, this isn’t to say that some players don’t understand why these characters get more skins than others. Asone user explained: “I really hate to be the one to say it, but at the end of the day, popular Heroes will always get more skins and be favored to get more skins than ones that aren’t…”

They continued to say that Overwatch 2 is a business and needs to make money since it “isn’t in the best financial position lately.”

With a roster as large as the game has, the players feel like not enough of the characters are included in new cosmetics. Even with some being more popular, people want the other Heroes to get some attention as well.

Of course, there could be more skins coming down the pipline once Overwatch 2 Season 11 launches. For now, fans just aren’t too excited about what’s in store.
