The eleven days of the event should give players enough time to complete the challenges and acquire the skins they want, but also check out the returning game modes.
Prop Hunt(aka Mischief and Magic) first appeared in Season 5 and became quite the success for Blizzard. And it seems the devs are bringing it back once again, this time instead placed in Lijiang Night Market instead of Blizzard World.
Much of the gameplay is staying the same with Prop Hunt, with Knight Genji’s needing to find all Kiriko hiding across the map, but this time, the prop selections will be themed around Lijiang’s Lunar New Year celebrations.

Other returning game modes are Capture the Flag and its faster counter-part CTF Blitz. Alongside it, Bounty Hunter, the free-for-all Deathmatch game mode is also returning.
As with any Overwatch in-game event, there’s a plethora of skins and cosmetics for players to collect from the shop.
Players who log in throughout the event, from January 31 to February 19, will earn a Year of the Dragon player icon for free.
Additionally, players can also purchase Lunar New Year-themed skins from the shop. Below are the skins up for sale.
So that’s all we know about the Lunar New Year event thus far but be sure to check back as new details emerge.
