“So like you, I’ve read the news about the UMG catalog being taken off TikTok. You know, some of my songs aren’t going to be on there anymore,” he said to start the video.

Noah Kahan went on to explain that he won’t be able to promote his music on the app anymore, either, which is a struggle for him as that’s how he’s always done it.

“I’ll probably be okay, right? I’ll land on my feet… right?” he nervously asked.

In the hours after the video was uploaded, hundreds of fans took to the comments to share their appreciation for Noah and his music.

“You have nothing to worry about Noah. you’re a star,” one user replied.

Another said: “Noah we love you you’ll go far you will be fine.”

“You may have started as a TikTok artist, but you’re so much more. Can’t wait for Forever!” a third fan commented.

Noah Kahan is just one of hundreds of artists signed to UMG that will be affected by the removal of the agency’s catalog on TikTok. However, fans are hopeful that Universal Music Group and TikTok will come to an agreement sooner than later.
