Pokemon Go developer Niantic has apologized to Sinnoh Tour – Los Angeles ticket holders for delays to the in-person event and offered a time extension as compensation.
Sinnoh Tour is split into two distinct events: the paid,in-person Los Angeles portionand the Global portion which all players can access with no additional cost.
Unfortunately, the Los Angeles event did not begin smoothly according to many fans who purchased tickets. Niantic has now apologized for the delays that held up the event and offered compensation to those affected.
Niantic offers compensation to Sinnoh Tour ticket holders
Niantic has released an officialstatementthrough the Pokemon Go blog titled, “Saturday update for Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Los Angeles.”
In the post, the developer apologized for the delay “that impacted Trainers attempting to enter the venue.” The venue in question is the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California, which acted as the main hub for the Sinnoh Tour – Los Angeles.
The post continued: “As compensation for this delay, all Saturday Pokémon GO Tour: Sinnoh – Los Angeles ticket holders and those who purchased a Saturday City-wide Gameplay add-on will have their event gameplay extended later today.”

Additionally, the developer claimed that additional raids and wild Pokemon encounters would spawn during these three extra hours.
The developer capped off the post by urging trainers to “plan to arrive early to Rose Bowl Stadium tomorrow,” as well as to reserve parking ahead of time and provided a link to purchase a space.
