Super Smash Bros. Ultimate devs has confirmed that a new spirit event will arrive at the end of January and will introduce Hades to the game.
When it comes to the world of competitive fighting games, theSuper Smash Bros. franchiseis one of the most popular and beloved series in the space.
While the franchise includes a long roster of iconic Nintendo characters for players to choose from, the series has also developed a long list of third-party fighters. The likes of Sonic, Bayonetta, Steve, and more all playable characters in the game.
WAS NOT EXPECTING HADES OKAY
As well as Hades, Smash Bros Ultimate will also be adding in spirits from 13 Sentinels and Power Pros.
The announcement was made via the official Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Twitter page, which has been included above.
Smash Bros. Ultimate fans are excited about the inclusion of Hades in the game, oneTwitter user writing“WAS NOT EXPECTING HADES OKAY.”
The next Smash Bros. Ultimate spirit event will begin onJanuary 26and will last for a total of five days.
At the time of writing, the exact characters that will be introduced for the new Spirit event are yet to be determined.
