Aniplex left no stone unturned to hype up their upcoming projects by giving some cryptic clues. Well, now it’s clear that the production house was hinting at Monogatari’s return.
The massive company dropped clues in the form of the letters ‘O’ and ‘M, ‘ which was enough to makeanimefans curious. Aniplex also created a website with the same hints.
Aniplex has blessed the community with beloved series like Sword Art Online andDemon Slayer. So, it’s no wonder why fans was eager to know what the production house had in store for them next.
Well, they finally have the answer to that question – and let’s just say that the community isn’t disappointed after the reveal.
Monogatari is returning with new anime adaptations
Monogatari’s officialwebsiterecently announced that two new Monogatari projects are in production.
The anime adaptations are titled Monogatari: Off Season and Monogatari: Monster Season. The studio has revealed a key art and official trailer to announce the upcoming massive projects. Apparently, Studio Shaft is working on both projects.
Monogatari: Off Season will adapt short stories from four novels: Orokamonogatari, Wazamonogatari, Nademonogatari, and Musubimonogatari. These events, which will be told in Off Season, occur at different times throughout the main timeline.
Monogatari: Monster Season, on the other hand, will cover events from Shinobumonogatari, Yoimonogatari, Amarimonogatari, and Ōgimonogatari. The events in this season will continue the story of the primary Monogatari timeline.
