One Netflix original mini-series had a massive plot twist that left many viewers claiming they were “messed up for days.”
Netflixis known for having some of the most memorable original content on its site, but one original show hashorrifiedthe masses more than others.
However, everything seems to go wrong when Louise meets and befriends David’s wife, Adele. The show’s final unexpected plot twist has some users “messed up for days.”
While Behind Her Eyes seems to be playing out a soap opera-esque love triangle, the real meat of the show comes in the last-minute twist.
Although Louise thinks she is coming between David and Adele, it turns out Adele is not actually herself as it’s revealed her rehab patient friend, Rob, astral projected into her body and then killed Adele’s soul that was trapped in his original body.
Louise realizes this horrifying fact toward the end of the show, which turns out to be too late as Rob uses the same method to take over her body and then kills her by injecting a lethal amount of heroin into Adele’s body.
Behind Her Eye’s twist is definitely one of the darkest a viewer can find on Netflix. When asked to provide a movie with a good plot twist, one Reddit userwrote, “Not a movie, but Behind Her Eyes. That’ll stick with me for awhile.”
Another viewercommented, “Behind Her Eyes!!! Don’t walk, run! This is a limitedseries on Netflix. I lost sleep over this series.”
