As we finally gear up for My Hero Academia Season 7, the anime has revealed a cool connection with acclaimed franchise Tokyo Ghoul.
Things are really heating up forMy Hero Academiaright now. The manga is getting closer and closer to Deku facing Shigaraki in the ultimate battle of good vs. evil, the One For All quirk against the All For One.
Though a little behind, theanimeis now in the Final Saga as well, introducing Dark Deku and other elements that create a real sense of foreboding.
We’re coming up on the premiere ofMy Hero Academia Season 7, and Studio Bones has revealed who’s doing the new opening. Not only is it a good choice, it’s one that bridges Deku’s journey with Ken Kaneki’s from Tokyo Ghoul.
My Hero Academia Season 7 opening theme is being performed by TK
It’s beenrevealedthat My Hero Academia Season 7’s opening will be scored by TK, the musician by the first theme for Tokyo Ghoul, as well as the Japanese theme song for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

We don’t yet have a name for the song TK has contributed, but the pedigree is there. Songs of his have appeared on Chainsaw Man and Code Geass, and he contributed music to Magic: The Gathering. In other words, if you know youranime showsor collectible card games, you’re likely familiar with his work.
Previously, My Hero Academia used rock bands such as Uverworld and Porno Graffitti for opening themes, so TK is in great company in that respect as well. As in all things to do with Pro Heroes, I trust Studio Bones implicitly.
