A strong section of the MW3 community is coming to the defense of the Stormender, arguing why it’s far more viable than people think.
The Stormender is a launcher that came to MW3 as part of the Season 1 update, but has been flying under the radar a bit.
For the most part, the players have left it to collect digital dust while theyfocus on other weaponsin the game.
However, the MW3 fanbase is now coming out to defend the Stormender after it has beenreceiving some harsh criticism.
MW3 fans believe Stormender is better than everyone thinks
The thing in question is the Stormender, which they apparently feel is a useless item to have in the game.
However, this criticism was met with quite a bit of defense, with many users arguing that it’sa viable weapon to have.
“You can EMP remote turrets and destroy cluster mines, good enough for me. Plus, point blank range up to around 5m or so has infinite punch through, you can shoot trophies and equipment through walls.”
Others point out that the Stormender is effective at taking out just about any killstreak in the game, which can be a huge benefit if you find yourself in a bind.
“Any kill streak that you’re up against – doesn’t matter what it is – gets disabled, and with rapid succession, you can destroy them.”
It is clear that the MW3 community actuallyfeels very stronglythat the Stormender deserves to be in the game, and that it’s far more useful than others have given it credit for.
This apparent as one user says, “I actually learned a lot from this post. It is now going in my ‘Anti Vehicle class.'”
The MW3 fans clearly enjoy having options to balance out some of the more powerful weapons in the game.
