MW3 players are frustrated after being disconnected from Ranked Play due to the servers going down.
With therelease of Ranked Playin MW3’s recent Season 1 Reloaded update, many players werelooking forward to a game modewhere the stakes were higher.
In Ranked Play, they are punished for poor performance and penalized for quitting a match early to encourage everyone sticking it out.
However, the game seems to be suffering some connectivity issues, resulting in players being forced out of matches, andthe fans are not happyabout the penalties.
MW3 players are upset with forced disconnection penalties
The conversation beganover on the MW3 subreddit, where a fan laid out whythey are so unhappywith Ranked Play.
They say that while they’ve had some fun with the mode, they’verepeatedly been kicked outof games for “no reason.”
“This has happened three times and just now the whole menu froze and I get more SR loss for inactivity.”
This player is not the only oneexperiencing problems like thiseither, as plenty of others in MW3 are coming forward to share their own stories about being penalized for doing nothing wrong.
One user didn’t hold back in their feelings about it: “Penalizing people for piss poor servers and game crashes is enough to make me want to delete this.”
Another person mentioned that they hit the cancel button right before joining a match when they were given the option, and the game still gave them a penalty for leaving a match early.
“We all got hit with a suspension for ‘leaving a match’ and we lost SR as well. We never even left the lobby screen and there was no warning about a penalty…”
These issues, while annoying, wouldn’t be as frustrating if they weren’t happening during Ranked Play, where the players are losing quite a bit when they are dropped from a game.
As of now, there has been no official word on if this is being looked at by the MW3 devs, but with so many players mentioning it,they are surely awareof the problem.
