MW3’s Aftermarket Parts continue to cause issues in-game, with this player finding a new flashbang counter mechanic while using the Renetti’s AMP.

WithMW3, Sledgehammer Games introduced a new attachment feature for certain weapons calledAftermarket Parts(AMP). These parts can drastically alter the way a weapon works. For example, the JAK Raven Kit for the MCW turns it into aclose-range monstrosity.

The concept adds flavor to weapons that may not have been “meta-worthy,” provided they function properly in-game. Over the past few weeks, players have had issues with the new system, with the rewards either not issued correctly or other problems deeming them unusable.

Another bug has surfaced involving the Renetti AMP, with this one providing a “useful” countermeasure to in-game flashes.

Posted in theModernWarfareIII Reddit thread, djml9 discovered a unique bug after equipping the Renetti with its Aftermarket Part and theBattle Pass Heatstroke blueprint. In a game of Hardcore Kill Confirmed, they secured a kill before their character suddenly covered their eyes.

The player sharedhow to recreate this animation, although they warned it’s a matter of standing in the right direction.

It seems not many players have seen this bug, with replies questioning what they viewed. “Wtf is this bug,” one replied, while another said: “How can it even be possible to have such bugs?”

Another comment made light of the situation: “It could be an insane trickshot.” Lobbies everywhere would love a real facepalm moment. WithRanked Playcoming in Season 1 Reloaded, one player shared a bit of foreshadowing: “That’s the facepalm my operator will do every time I miss shots in ranked next week.”

WithSeason 1 Reloadedright around the corner, hopefully, a fix for this will make its way into the game.
