MultiVersus devs have acknowledged frame rate issues plaguing console users and confirmed they are working on “optimizing” amid lagging concerns.
Despite intending to be much more polished than when it was released in early access, players have already taken issue with certain changes. Among these are characters now being completelylocked behind purchases, and cannot even be used during local play or training.
Another issue that plagued the game duringearly access that persistsis frame rate, particularly on consoles. Many players are voicing their frustration over lag when playing on their Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
We are aware that Xbox players are experiencing poor frame rate. We are working hard to optimize and improve frame rates for those affected, which should generally help all players. We will provide updates as they become available.
As such, MutiVersus devsPlayer First Gamestook to X/Twitter toaddress community concernsover performance issues on consoles.
The devs first acknowledged players “experiencing poor frame rate” and added “we are working hard to optimize and improve frame rates,” promising to provide “updates as they become available.”
MultiVersus players were quick to respond, with the news well-received overall. One playercommented, “Thank you for finally acknowledging this! Thanks for all your hard work getting this done!”
Anotheradded, “Thank you so much that’s literally like the only bug I’ve been experiencing.”
Time will tell when the MultiVersus devs will finally fix these frame rate issues, however, we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
