Doorkeeper Thrull is a new white mana Creature announced as part of MTG’sMurders at Karlov Manorreveals.

Doorkeeper Thrull has a somewhat paltry stat line, butFlyingalways helps to boost the efficacy of even weak creatures. But players will rarely be dropping Doorkeeper Thrull for its stats, instead relying on its ability to negate Artifact and Creature ETB triggers.

The crucial part of Doorkeeper Thrull is its inherent Flash ability. Being able to cast this creature at Instant speed means that you can shut down your opponents’ triggers and grind their strategy to a halt, all outside of your own turn.

This creature’s reveal has made a splash right away, with fans taking to social media to debate the card’s merits, with many coming out in its favor.
