Now, Wizards of the Coast has decided to switch to a limited-run print model instead. Ostensibly intended to cut down on wait times, the fallout from this change has been that highly-anticipated Secret Lairs likeCommander Deck: Raining Cats and Dogssold out within hours of becoming available.

Many fans were unaware that Commander Deck: Raining Cats and Dogs purchases were even live before theysold out. As a result, negative sentiment around the limited-run modelis continuing to grow.

Additionally, the release for this Winter Superdrop is held back until April 12th, meaning that players will still have to wait a considerable length of time between ordering and receiving their secret lairs, making the ‘reduced wait times’ seem moot.

It’s unfortunate for players to have to contend with this change to Secret Lairs. Dealing with scalpers and marked-up prices shouldn’t ever be a necessity. As such we’ll show you what each of the Winter Superdrop Secret Lairs contain as well as their release time, so that you have as much information as possible before making a purchase.

If you don’t want to contend with scalpers and are still set on buying, be sure to check out theSecret Lair release herefrom9 am PT onwards on February 5.
