Season 1 Reloaded of Modern Warfare 3 has arrived bringing with it the massively anticipated Ranked Play alongside a new map, three new game modes, and a variety of weapon changes and new guns to try out.
Just over a month later Season 1 Reloaded is here adding more content toModern Warfare 3for fans to unlock and explore. Most notably, this includes the return of Ranked Play bringing competitive gameplay back to Call of Duty.
Ranked Play is available
Ranked Play has arrived in Season 1 Reloaded finally adding a competitive mode for Call of Duty’s most dedicated players to obsess over. As in MW2, this is a 4v4 game mode that uses the same maps, restrictions, and modes as the Call of Duty League.
To play Ranked Play you need to first reach Level 55. Once this rank is obtained you can grind your way through the ranks beginning with Bronze 1 and potentially climbing to Iridescent or even Top 250. Playing games and finishing in a higher rank will reward unique cosmetics that cannot be obtained elsewhere.
Two returning game modes and one brand new one are being added to Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer in Season 1 Reloaded. These new modes areTeam Gunfight,Headquarters, andInfected.
Here’s what you can expect from all three game modes:
The lone multiplayer map introduced in MW3 Season 1 Reloaded isRio. This new map has been added to the core 6v6 rotation across most game modes in addition to a dedicated Rio 24/7 game mode.
Based in Brazil, Rio is described as an “upscale shopping center in Rio de Janeiro in a new medium-sized 6v6 Multiplayer map featuring a central indoor mall surrounded by Main Street, a tram station, a market, a plaza and café, and residential spaces.”
