The final chapters of Sabretooth War are incoming, and they’re giving Wolverine a brand new costume in the form of the Adamantium Armor.

Wolverine’s hada number of costumesand looks over the years, but there is one look that’s pretty unusual: armor.

Wolverine’s healing factorand adamantium skeleton mean he’s a tank, for better or for worse. He usually just takes a hit and shrugs it off, opting to keep trucking forward.

That’s why it definitely stands out when Marvel makes a big announcement, like the full debut of an all-new, Iron Man-like Battle Armor for Wolverine revealed inthe latest collection of X-Men solicitations.

Armor up for the penultimate part of ‘Sabretooth War!’ Wolverine is powerless—but not defenseless. Forge made Logan one last invention, and with the lives of the X-Men and all mutants on the line, it’s time to unleash the ultimate weapon! COLLECTORS’ NOTE: Featuring the full debut of the Adamantium Armor!

It’s not the first time Wolverine has donned a suit of armor, though it is an uncommon site. He infamously wore the Ablative Armor when his healing factor was removed, but beyond that, most suits of armor for Logan aredesigned to sell toysor only worn foralternate-universe affairs.

Wolverine will get the armor forthe penultimate chapter in Sabretooth War, a storyline meant to mark 50 years of Wolverine. Marvel advertised it as the bloodiest story yet, and so far, it’s lived up to that.

Wolverine himself has been through the wringer in the story, having to chop off his own hands and feet. It still wasn’t enough to save his son, Dakken, from being killed or to prevent Sabretooth and his army from kidnapping his clone, X-23.
