Not long after rejecting Emilia at the altar, Lucas from Love Is Blind Sweden Season 1 has moved on with someone new.
Emilia and Lucas were amongthe five couples who were engaged to get marriedin the premiere season ofLove Is Blind Sweden.
While Emilia was all in on their relationship and spending the rest of their lives together, Lucas wasn’t 100% on board and waited to make that known until after she said ‘I do’ at the altar, to which he couldn’t give her back that same response.
What usually happens in the US series is that when an engagement falls through, the two move on and forget it never happened. But, Emilia & Lucas remained in a relationship post-wedding-day rejection until, after a few weeks, they finally called it quits.
Now that the former couple had to face each other in the reunion, Lucas made a very surprising announcement.
Love Is Blind Sweden’s Lucas has a new girlfriend
During the Season 1 reunion, both Lucas and Emilia were asked whether or not they were currently seeing someone new.
Emilia responded no and broke down into tears over her opinion thatshe carried her relationship with Lucas further than she should have.
Lucas, on the other hand, happily confirmed that he has a new girlfriend, and a photo of the alleged couple was later posted onReddit.
As for Emilia, she has reflected on her on-screen journey and is disappointed in her relationship with her ex-fiance.“The experiment reminded me that actions speak louder than words and that I shouldn’t have to give so much of myself without getting as much in return,”she said in a post-reunion interview.
As of now, Season 2 of LIB Sweden has not been announced byNetflix.
