Love Is Blindis in a league of its own when it comes to reality TV, and that’s mainly because of its entertaining concept.
A group of hopeful singles are tasked with getting to know each other in pods, rooms where they can hear but can’t see each other.
Ultimately, they have to decide whether or not they made a true connection with a fellow contestant, and if so, the couple meet face to face and get engaged.
Some of these engagements result inloving marriages that have lasted several years, thus far. And in other cases, they don’t even make it out of the season.
In Season 4 of the US show, there was a major love triangle where a contestant broke off her engagement tostart dating someone else she’d met in the pods. But now, it seems like Season 6 is about to top that storyline with an even messier plot.
Season 6 of Love Is Blind US has a love triangle
On February 6, anew trailer for Season 6 of LIBwas released and it looks as if it’s going to be the most unhinged season.
The clip revealed that there is going to be a love triangle, confirmed by one of the female contestants reading a message from a guy who she didn’t end up choosing to leave the pods with, but wants her back.
“If there’s ever a chance your mind is shifting in your choice,” she read the text out loud in the video.
Viewers will soon see how this interesting dynamic plays out and how many marriages (if any) will result from this experiment.Season 6 is set to premiereon Netflix this Valentine’s Day.
