Instagram seems to be a big deal to at least one of the Love is Blind Season 6 contestants. During the trailer, viewers caught a glimpse of a male contestant asking a woman, “How many followers do you have on Instagram?“

She stormed out of the pod with a frustrated and annoyed look on her face. From his perspective, knowing her follower account on Instagram must have been an important factor.

From her perspective, that a question was way too superficial to entertain or justify with a response.

It’s possible he wanted to know because he isn’t interested in dating someone who has a social media fan base full of admirers to compete with.

It’s also possible he wanted to find out as a way of indicating how attractive she might be. Assuming a woman with fewer followers might be less attractive is a sly way of weeding people without asking them directly about their appearance.

Regardless of his motives, the woman stormed out and simply didn’t have the patience to deal with him.
